Do not tarry.
First, who uses the word tarry in 2023?
For the record, I do not.
But this has been strong in my heart for the last week.
Besides these words resting over me, I have additionally felt a strong increase to move. By move, I mean take action. And yet, I have not understood clearly what to take action on.
I have increasingly been frustrated with the idea of writing.
Anything I even considered writing has felt powerless, inactive, and honestly out and out ran through - overplayed, exhausted.
Scanning through my mind have been articles of how to do this and how to do that. Christian voices telling everyone what they should do or be or what have you.
And it finally came to me.
Do not tarry. I have given you what you need. Pull the women together. Do what I have called you to do. Stop looking at who this is not for and what they will say. Stop looking at them. Please stop with the meditation of their voices. Instead, turn your gaze to me and to those I will bring you.
My friend, this word is not for everyone, but it is a word for those who’s preparation for a certain something has come to fulfillment and it is now time to take action.
I do not know what you have not been taking action on, what you have delayed out of fear of man, or failure or lack of resources, but I am here to call forth your vision. I want to tell you to not tarry into 2024.
Be expectant. Have faith in what he has called you to do. Add Bible verses that will fight back the thoughts countering your faith and vision and preventing you from action. Expect the resources to come when you need them. Surrender this back to the One who gave this to you. It is his, therefore he will open the doors and lead the way. You just need to take action.
Until next time,
If you need support in a way I can help, I am offering (at a ridiculously low rate) during the month of January only - my services to select women who are ready to take action.
